Any pricescopers have either the Danhov CL130 or 134, or a VC 6 prong Gabrielle ring. I'm trying to narrow my setting options, and have discovered these two both he reasonably priced for what they are. I'd love to see some pictures if so, as I can't seem to find any real finger online anywhere.

Thanks in advance. Looking forward to seeing your bling!

I recently got a Danhov setting that was wonky.
This is what I bought.....

I recently got an 8 prong setting from Victor and I have had several people tell me including jewellers that it is one of the nicest looking and best made settings they have ever seen. It is a no brainer for me, Victor's work is meticulous and he is a lovely genuine guy as well.

I love VC's work. Every ring I have seen that he has done looks beautiful, even for styles I don't generally go for. I appreciate the pics. I'm so conflicted. I can do a temp setting for now, and then in maybe a year be able to have a VC setting made to my exact desire, but that means being being very very patient, and also finding a decent enough temp setting that is super cheap but still looks decent. Or, I can do the danhov and not have to upgrade later - I like the classico CL130...and, its a pretty good price. Except I have never actually seen it on, so don't truly know what it will look like.

Jimmianne...thanks for your post. Wonky doesn't sound good :(. Do you think it is the actual Danhov setting that's messed up, or maybe how the diamond was set. .. will the vendor you purchased from not do anything to help fix this?

In the photos if you look closely at both sides of each arch you can see that the arches are quite irregular and look sort of melted, and the "holes" in the arches are all different sizes and not arch-shaped. The vendor was happy to take the ring back and reset, but I didn't understand why it was sent out like that in the first place.
As a result of the quality of the setting I started to question the quality of the diamond* [11k] and ended up spiraling down to the point where I returned the whole thing. :angryfire: Maybe it was the vendor, or maybe it was Danhov. I guess I don't have enough experience to know what a CAD will really look like in person, but I will def. go to Victor for my next setting to avoid any further disappointment. =)

edit: *yes, illogical, I know.
