It’s annoyingly hot. The type of heat that feels fake—like bc it’s not in season—and is accompanied by a dryness. My throat has been itchy all day! Thanks, heat!!! Go away and come back when you are genuine!

What is this hot? I am not familiar with this word.
It's a balmy 34 degrees and rain sleeting here.

We are unseasonably warm here on the east
coast too. I hate cold weather so I am not complaining - neither is my electric bill!!

Our forecast doesn't suck

Especially for February in the NE :)

@kenny Don't we usually have a hot week in February? Winter is coming for us tomorrow though!

And yes, non-SoCal people, this is cold!!!!!

I’m pretty happy with the unseasonably warm temps here in the US NE. In fact, we also have not had any real measurable snow here. That’s a bit concerning after a particularly dry summer. :/

It's teeth-chattering freezing over here in the UK winter weather

Another gorgeous winter's day here :)

well we seem to be the only place in the north island thankfully not effected by the cyclone
we got two cooler nights but it was hot again last night

I had been wondering about how you’ve been after your cyclone but since you’ve been posting recently on PS, I figured you must be OK. I’m glad to learn that that’s indeed the case and that you haven’t been affected.

thank you @Garnetgirl
yes apart from a bit of wind and some rain we are fine here
some trees down around the place but mainly just small branches and leaves and tons of acorns everywhere
i mean it was so windy when i walked home from work on tuesday night we had white caps on the river going the wrong way up the river !

but to be honest i had not really realised how bad it actually was for the rest of the north island till i started to sees stories in overseas media
but i kept missing the start of the news and Auckland being the biggest always hogs the headlines
saddly peole have died with some still missing and thousands displaced
also a lot of places have comms down and no power or safe drinking water down the east coast of the nth island

i think our whole little city knows how lucky we are to live here in Wanganui
