I walked this morning...really short one and I plan on biking tonight. I really enjoy watching the olympics while riding my exercise bike. Those athletes are so inspiring!
I did actually work out today. BF and I went to the gym and had a nice strength training session. I actually bench pressed 25lbs a side, for a total of 95lbs - granted, I only managed 2 sets of 4 reps, but 95lbs is my all-time high... so I consider this a success.
I also did my first ever set of squats today. After working on the leg press for the last month or so, boyfriend showed me the proper squat technique and I quite enjoyed it. Granted, I only dd it with the bar (no additional weights) because I''m still getting used to the movement, but it was fun.
This evening though, I''m not feeling particularly well. I had my gallbladder removed last September, and although everyone assured me that I would not notice the difference, I have noticed I''m quite sensitive and often react negatively to certain foods (particularly if they''re even slightly fatty). I have been keeping a diary of everything I eat on FitDay.com, and cannot, for the life of me, figure out what did it for me today. Maybe I was just due for some discomfort. It''s kind of touch and go sometimes...
Anyway, tomorrow morning, I''m up early for a 4.5mile run... hopefully I''ll be better by then.
However I picked up two of my bad habit things while out as well, a chocolate croissant from the patisserie in the mall, and a turkey pot pie from Marie Calendars...oh well it''s the weekend right? Gotta live sometimes!
