Daily Workout Thread Friday 9/9

Good Afternoon ladies.

I had my trainer this morning, so I got a good hour workout in. I think she was a little frustrated with me though... one of the things we are working on is form and I am so tense that my form is always off a little. I seriously can''t relax at all. My shoulders and neck are constantly stressed. I curl my toes at every exercise. I''m supposed to try meditation but it doesn''t work for me. I get all itchy and figety... Yes, I am a head case.

I am now going to be going to the gym for 20-30 minutes before my trainer gets there to get some extra cardio in. Hopefully, that will help. I don''t have a scale so I don''t know if I''ve lost any, and I can''t really tell if my clothes fit better since the ones I wear fit well now... I definitely feel better, but I wish that I could see more results. It''s so hard...

Dinner last night was pretty disasterous. The bf was out so I pigged out on steak. It wasn''t huge, huge... but probably 3 times what a portion should be. I also, of course, had some wine. So bad...

I''m hungry now so I''m a little worried about what I''m going to have for lunch. I know it should be a salad, but I''m feeling that I need something more substantial. If only I could go to a spa or fat camp for a month or so!!!
 
I just got home from the gym. I rode my bike there, and realized I strained my shoulder yeserday, and it hurts. I was going to do a yoga class, but I didnt want to put that much pressure on it. I did 25 minutes of abs and lunges and then 25 on the eliptical. I then rode my bike to my hair dressers and got my hair blown out for the wedding tonight. It looks cute, too bad I''m not 5 pounds lighter so the skirt I''m wearing would look cute too.

AP, fat camp is exactly what i need. A month is mexico or belize, filled with hiking and yoga, healthy food and relaxation. Wouldnt that be great. Not in the cards at this time though. So I am up to my own devices and plan on just being conscious of what I eat at all times.
 
I did 20 minutes of elliptical and ran 2 miles on the treadmill today. I only did about 5-10 minutes of quicky weight training because I do this all during my lunch hour (which I stretch to about 1 hour 20 minutes

) . I have to work off all the food I''ve been gobbling down lately. I swear I have worms or something, I''m constantly hungry.
 
AP- You sound just like me...I I had lost some weight (23lbs) on my own. The decision was made that I would attend Camp Shane which has a solid rep as a place to go and lose some weight... I was excited to be going by the time I left. I really thought I would lose the rest of my weight while I was there. I did not.

I actually gained back the 23 and more...
However there were girls who lost a fair amount of weight. I would say that if you are already dieting and exercising fat camp wont be much of a boost. Except for the friends you make becuase they really do understand, everyone gets it no one is ever rude or condescending, its nice.
Mrs Flutter- I am sorry your not feeling top form tonight I hope you have an enjoyable evening.

JaysonsMom- I think it is great that you are doing so much and on your lunch hour no less! Go you!

I spent the day with a friend from Oxford. It was great she is totally my weight loss motivation. I will have to ask her I can post a before after/picture, she lost about 90lbs and is just stunning. We went to lunch and she understood so I did well.

Then we went and walked around the mall for a bit and bought some new shorts (a size down)

and a new pair of sneakers. AND!!! I got a pair of size 12 Long and Lean jeans at the Gap.

This is not where I want to be in the long run but hey every bit counts. I think going away from school for a bit will give me an extra kick! When I got home to my grandparents I went 5.34 miles and I will try and go again later tonight. Over all a great day!
