Hi ladies, I hope that everyone''s doing well today.
I swam for about 40 minutes this morning. I need to take tomorrow off to drive up to the DC area to have a consult with a back surgeon. It''s going to do a lot more for my health in the long run though, so I''m not too disappointed.
yesterday, i didn''t even do my pilates. i just had a day off and i think that i needed it. i was feeling a bit under the weather and my feet were in poor shape. today is a new day, not to mention a lovely day - so i''m feeling a whole lot better.
back to the gym this evening.

I''ve been very bad this week with workouts! I haven''t worked out at all this week! Monday was just pure laziness, and last night my abdominal issues were recurring yet again. My doctor''s appointment is just 2 weeks away now, so hopefully I won''t be feeling too badly until then.
Tonight I will try to get on the treadmill provided I get home at a reasonable hour.
Good morning ladies! I''m happy to report that last night I did 3.5 miles in 50 minutes on the treadmill (at a 1.5 incline, no less). That''s way longer than I usually do, because I finally got smart and hid the time display with a magazine, lol! I normally get bored after about 25 minutes, but I need to increase my miles and endurance so I''m having to force myself to stay on longer. It went pretty quick last night, thank goodness!
I really want to get in 6 work outs this week, but I am feeling like taking a day off today
. I won''t though! I''m going tonight come hell or high water!
My week hasn''t been too great thus far. I did work out Monday but not yesterday. Actually, I took the day off b/c I am not feeling well. I decided to work today and am going to work out somehow this evening. I don''t want to get off track and am afraid I will if I stop for more than a day or so. It was so hard to get to a routine that I really don''t want to break it.

I made it to water aerobics last night, stepped quickly yet carefully into the pool, and had an amazing workout. I always thought it was for little old ladies, but WOW that woman makes us work hard! We did an interval workout last night... so just when I thought she was trying to kill me, we would end up doing slow pelvic circle walking across the pool... whew. I was so sore when I got home, but I feel great today. I think I might be able to brave the treadmill or the bike today now that the bruises are mostly better.
I just got my iPod shuffle in the mail and am uploading it right now! Can''t wait to try it out tonight!
i thought of another great workout song, pump up the volume. or maybe i posted that in last thread.
oh and MJ''s ''beat it'' is great too.
i did my 2m around the park yesterday and my thighs were burning. i wonder if that means the fat is burning off or rather that i am pushing too hard. it''s hard to believe walking could really do so much but i do like the changes i see. along with better diet of course.
last nite for dinner we had chicken kebabs and rice, yummy! that''s my lunch for today too, leftovers. dinner who knows...i haven''t figured it out just yet!
oh and yesterday i did 15 minutes of pilates too and also 10 minutes of arm weights. so, productive i guess.

I swear I know what day of the week it is... I think that part of the problem is that I''m driving to my parents'' place in NoVa tonight, and you normally only head out of town on Fridays and Saturdays, right?
At least I still made it to all the right classes today.
