Never thought I''d be the one to start on this thread. I went to Bikram Yoga yesterday. I haven''t been since July and it was tough. I plan to go again today. The good thing is that my friend went with me yesterday (it was her first time) so now I have a yoga buddy to make me go!
I was thinking of starting it too Apple, haven''t seen Matatora on for a couple of days. Yoga''s great, I wish I could do it, but not with my spine unfortunately. That is good to have a yoga buddy, helps to keep each other motivated
Hi all.
I''m back from my vacation, which was wonderful. But wonderful vacations usually mean too much eating and drinking and not that much exercise. I really need to get into gear by the end of the year!
I had my trainer this morning but she took it easy on me. Lots of yoga and stretching. It''s amazing how much one week of non-activitiy can really effect you! I did about 25 mintues of walking before she got there. I see her again tomorrow, and after Thanksgiving, so I''ll make sure to step it up then!
I agree, put a little more work in now then you don''t feel so guilty come the holidays! I find I can''t eat anywhere as much as I used to at Xmas now, still better for the figure!
BOO HOO I am so bummed, I tweaked my back on Saturday, it''s in a spasm and I haven''t been able to do ONE THING. I know it''s from working out too hard last Thursday, I was so sore I could barely walk and my muscles got very tight on Friday.
So now I am doing a whole lot of nothing but laying on the couch in a weird contorted position and thinking about eating Thanksgiving food. I did go for a short walk yesterday which did seem to help, so I will do it again today and hope it loosens up soon!!
The worst part is I wanted to work out again 2ce this week (yesterday and tomorrow night) so that I could eat up all weekend and not feel any guilt. Maybe I can go tomorrow. At least once!
About 10-15 days ago I found out that I gained 10lbs in 1.5 months due to falling off the low-carb wagon, and not working out as much, so in order to justify my Thanksgiving feasting, I went back on a strict low-carb/exercise regimen about 10 days ago, and lost 9 out of the 10lbs. I''m back down to the low 130''s and feel ready to indulge myself on Turkey day. It''s amazing what my body can gain and lose in a short time!
