Any thoughts on a D color with a medium blue fluorescence?

Fluorescence is a personal choice. Do you like it?

Didn't you just put a deposit on a D with no fluorescence? Are you rethinking that?

It''s fine. Might save you a few $$$ because of an industry bias to no fluor in whiter colored stones. You will more than likely never notice it, and personally I love the effect in UV lights. At most, the stone might take on a ever so slight lavendar glow in the sun, which is cool if it happens.

why not a G with fluor?

As Swing says, it is a personal preference, I happen to enjoy fluorescence in any diamond, so it would add interest for me, but it is up to you.

It sounds lovely to me, but I''m not sure I''d go out of my way to find it!!

The problem is that I have never seem fluorescence in person, is medium noticable under normal conditions?

What do you define as normal?

You have just decided on a diamond without fluorescence if I remember rightly?

No, you cannot see medium florescence in ordinary lighting. I had a diamond with med. blue for more than 20 years before a jeweler happened to mention that it had florescence. I would have never known since I am never in a room with black lights!
