custom setting with diamonds and softer stone?

I know this forum is just supposed to be for diamonds and not color stones- but the recommendations and examples of cushion cut custom settings for rings are amazing! I am looking for someone who can set a cushion cut 3 ct tanzanite in a ring. can I use the same setters as diamonds or need to find someone who is familar setting tanzanite? I will use some diamond accents on sides/ band.

Ahhhh- clearly I stumbled into something special! Pokey is awesome. I like a lot of other examples conected to the pokey special link- tanzonite rings at jewelryexpert.com so nice, too. Thank you! So I guess any excellent setter like Leon will work with tanzanite. Great!
