custom piece question

i am contemplating a custom piece and deciding between verdura and schlumberger. both make lovely things but any sense of who has better workmanship, which might be a better long term value?

Can you post a picture of the ring you are considering? Are you asking for a piece inspired by verdura and schlumberger? Or are you going to find something vintage from them?
