Custom ER in Philadelphia? Jen Green? Brenda Cohen?

So I am looking to modify Tacori 2638 for a custom engagement ring to fit an antique cushion. There are several different vendors in the Philadelphia diamond district who perform custom engagement rings. The two I was impressed with are Jen Green and Brenda Cohen, both of which seem to have done some very nice pieces.

Has anyone worked with them or heard of them?
Any other vendors? I have seen previous posts regarding Barsky with mixed results but not really anyone else.

I have thought of online vendors though figured with the intricacies of doing custom work and the need for coordinating/communication to create a perfect piece, it would be easier with a local designer. Any online vendors you would recommend?

Tacori would do a piece similar to the modifications I would like but would cost over $5,000 which is more than I would like to spend.

My friend's husband had her ring custom-made by a jeweler out in Devon. I don't know the name, unfortunately. Anyway, I haven't studied it under a loupe or anything, but it is a really beautiful setting. Just a thought, if you don't mind going out of the city a bit -- I think it would be pretty easy to figure out the jeweler. I would ask her, but she just had a baby so she's a little occupied right now!

I'm one of those that posted about Barsky. Stop in, ask to speak with Nate directly, and discuss what you'd like to do. His bench is spectacular, and as long as you bring photos and clearly state what you want, you'll get exactly that.
