Custom Earrings

Hi,

Does anyone have recommendations for a vendor for custom earrings?

My budget is $1k - is that too small a sum for the custom route?

I am looking for diamond drop or pave earrings, less than .75ctw.

I suspect your budget might be a bit too tight for custom work.

However, there are stock settings for diamond drop earrings. Is there any way to add a bit to your budget? For approximately $1250-ish, you could get into drop earrings with .30 each J, SI earrings for a total cwt of .60.

There are some pave styles that would fall into your $1K budget but they aren''t drop style.

Thank you for your response. I wasn''t sure about my budget, if it was worth contacting anyone, and also who to contact. I do know that Whiteflash does such lovely work with engagement rings - I was wondering if they did earrings as well. I spoke with and later emailed Jamie (so helpful & nice) pictures of what I was looking for.

hmm... are the ones you mentioned on the website? wow .30 c each is large for me

, was thinking of a few .1 bezel set drops.

Ah........now I see why you were asking about custom.

Bezel sets will have to be custom (as the bezel has to precisely fit the stone), and that will eat considerably into your budget.

If you''re willing to go to prong-set, then you can get a pair of .25s or .30s in a leverback drop style for the $1200-1300 range I mentioned.

Yes, the drop earrings are shown on the website (they are named Inspiration-al), and they can be set with stones down to .50 ctw (which is .25 each).

I was also looking at the "diamonds by the yard" and "dreamcatcher" styles on your site. My ideal pair is something similar to those. lol I guess when most people mean custom on this site they mean larger stones or bigger budgets - I should have worded it as "slight changes to existing designs." Hopefully Jamie will come back with good news, if not, the two styles above are under 1k, and are quite nice.
