Hello hello! I have been lurking and reading and bookmarking everything relevant I can think of as someone embarking on their first custom ring project. And yet... I'm going to ask the same question that's been asked so very many times: Any recommendations for choosing a custom ring designer?!

Inspired by this setting as a base for a pear center stone with some tweaks. Polished shank solitaire, no pave.

I've seen all the 'big' names mentioned - David Klass, Victor Canera, Joseph Schubach, Steven Kirsch, Maytal Hannah.

Is there anyone else I should consider, maybe someone that is already doing this kind of scroll filigree design that I am not aware of / did not list?

Many many thanks!!

First to come to mind… CVB Jewlery

Caysie has a very unique, vintage feeling to her pieces. My personal favorite solitare she makes is the Olivia. It’s a very simple 8 prong solitaire. Your picture reminds me of her style though. :kiss2:

Ah yes!! Thank you! Had totally fallen off my list for some reason. The Olivia setting is beautiful!

Knox Jewelers and Greenlake create beautiful scrollwork rings. Both will set outside stones. I have worked with Brian at Knox and he was wonderful.

AH, amazing! Thank you so much for both of these recs. Very fun to scroll (ha ha) thru their designs.

The Knox Jewelers you are thinking of is the one with dot biz as the website and located in Minnesota? There are quite a few Knox Jewelers online, wanted to confirm
