Custom Design Upstate NY

Good morning PS!

Thanks to the most helpful team at Good Old Gold, I am in posession of a very nice AGS Ideal Princess Cut I, SI1 1.05 ct stone (which I actually had appraised last night and appraiser''s opinion prior to being shown AGS info was H (very close to G), VS2). Not wanting to do only half the job, I guess I''ll have it set before giving to GF

I had originally begun discussions with Green Lake Jewelery but those talks have stalled. In the meantime, I have discovered the work of Scott Keating (particularly the three stone settings in the Viewpoints Collection) and have made inquiry to them and await answer. Also keeping custom work in mind, I''m curious if anyone here has any experience with designers in the Upstate NY area (I''m located in Albany). A few of the local names that come to mind are Drue Sanders Custom Jewelery, Frank Adams Jewelers and Paul Truman Jewelers.

Wow, small world! I am in Albany as well lol.

Northeastern is the largest jewelery store for sure in our area. I do believe they do custom designs but might be $$$ just like all their items I have a friend at work who''s cousin use to work there, but now works in VT I think doing custom designs. I will get his info for you if you want.
