Both rings were hand made by Craig Dabler in Tucson, AZ (I go to him for everything now - he is a genius! Seriously, I don''t think there is anything this man can''t do). Both bands are platinum 900, 4mm in width.
Thanks to everyone on Pricescope who posted their rings to help us with the inspiration for this design.
That is cushionylicious!!!! Such a gorgeous stone. Love the setting, and matching wedding band. That''s a wow of a set if ever I saw one!!! Congrats!!!
WOW - thank you everyone for the generous compliments! I left my browser for 2 minutes and refreshed and had a page full
I want to also add - when we were doing our lengthy search for the perfect cushion - we waded through a zillion posts on this site. The most valuable tip I can provide to cushion searches is this:
Find a good picture of the cushion of your dreams (mine was More More More''s) and send it to Mark Turnowski and let him find it for you - this man is honest, trustworthy and has a terrific eye for a beautiful stone. This is the quickest path through a confusing journey to get to your dream cushion.
Your rings are gorgeous and unique looking! Congratulations!
Also, I can''t help but notice your name...are you into networking? (cisco?) I just thought I''d ask because I don''t meet too many women in the networking field...
yes - as a matter of fact - I am! I currently hold my CCNA and am working towards an NP - I work mostly in switching/routing - but dabble in wireless I am the only woman in my field where I work...
that''s so cool! i''m the only woman in my field where i work too and i mainly do switching/routing and just started taking care of all of our wireless needs. it''s nice to meet a woman who does the same thing that i do because it''s pretty rare. i''m taking my ccna test in two weeks! good luck with the ccnp!
