Cushion Struggles -- thoughts on this one

I have been educating myself with the many posts on here about cushion cuts and cannot thank enough those of you who post. For the uneducated like myself, the whole process is unnerving. Anyway, like many have suggested, I have been amazed in my search that with cushions, numbers suggesting "high quality" don't always translate into a diamond being beautiful in person. After seeing several cushions, I am leaning towards one that definitely has some life to it when seeing it in the store. However, I was hoping to get more educated opinions about some of the other objective info on the diamond, particularly the price and whether medium blue flourescence is an issue, or if I am overlooking something else.

As far as I know, only strong or very strong blue fluorescence is ever overblue (goes oily/milky in sunlight). Medium wouldn''t be enough of an effect to notice except maybe as a faint hint of blue/violet in the sun.

Very few strong or very strong blue fluorescence stones are ever milky. Most are just fine. I have a VSB and only in direct sunlight can you ever tell it has any fluorescence.

Without images there isn't much we can tell you, is the diamond for sale from a jewellery store? The fluorescence won't be an issue, in fact could even provide a discount as this is a D colour.

As to the diamond itself, check the very thick girdle isn't encompassing a huge area, it needn't be an issue if carefully placed around vulnerable areas but best to check with the vendor or an appraiser.
