Cushion setting question

I looking to get a 1 carat cushion. What type of setting would look good with this stone? My g/f has size 7 finger and said she would prefer a solitaire setting.

I''ve looked on Pricescope, but most pictures of cushions are of the 3+ carat variety. Not exactly an apple to apple comparison.

Cushion cuts are usually smaller than rounds (for the same weight), so perhaps a richer setting would do well for this size of stone and ring.
