Lurker coming out of hiding to obtain some help from PS experts!

I saw this cushion on ebay and I like the general shape and arrangement of the facets.. however I don''t know if the price is on par with it''s color, clarity and carat? Can anyone help me?

anyone? For an antique stone is this an ok price for the specs?

Both of these have guaranteed better optics (especially in the middle of the stone under the table) as they are cut for light performance under the table and both have a much larger faceup size.
In addition the store GOG has better customer service, tradein and and upgrade policies and they are both cheaper.

That stone you posted is very deep has a faceup size of about 1Ct and you would have to request a lot more information on its optics such as an ASET which DBL doesn''t normally send to customers. Did you specifically want an L coloured diamond or a lower colour?

IN terms of upgrade and trade up policies, I believe ours is comperable to anyone''s.


We rarely get requests for ASET, however we''ve never refused when someone asked.
 
I just wanted an antique or an antique looking stone since apparently they are all the rage now on PS and my gf agrees they are the bee''s knees.. so :D

If you''d like to upgrade your customer service up to the level of GOG here are some suggestions for a start:

1) As I have requested from you in other threads make a comparison between this and other Cushions in your inventory. Comparison videos in GIA diamond dock under controlled lighting would do the trick. Please also feel free also to post the ASET here for VSX you never know he just might buy it if you do.
2) Come here and provide further information about your stones and educate in general on these like Jon does on his Signature stones.
3) Educate the consumer on what makes this stone special beyond the rhetoric he can find on your website we all can learn about your inventory here if you do.

The customer is VSX and you should direct your comments to him. This is a thread about your stone, please expound on its virtues here as this is the only time you are allowed to comment directly on a diamonds sold here as most others are from other vendors.

Please explain why your OMC with darkness under the table near the culet, 73.6% depth, Fair Symmetry, Good Polish and L color Clarity SI1 is competitively priced on PS compared to the choices we have here.

VFS_FX- I apologize. The last thing I would want is to make you feel uncomfortable- I am in a strange position here.
On the one hand, I am not here to promote a stone in a situation such as this- or any time I post.
That is due to PS regs- and my own feelings as well.

GOG is a great place to buy. I would never comment on any of their stones for the same reason- I need post as a tradesperson.

My opinion on many subjects is not in line with what a lot of folks that post here usually suggest.
Sometimes this causes heated discussions.

In terms of what constitutes customer service, and how it relates to a forum: If there should ever come a time when a client , or potential client of ours felt compelled to complain about a specific aspect needed addressing, I would respond.
As I feel bound to do if an inference is made that because we do not do things as you like in terms of how we describe diamonds, there is somehow something lacking in our customer service.
