Sadly, I know nothing about cushions! Maybe those who are, can chime in. Most here will agree that non round diamond shapes should be viewed in person, since preference is varied, and cushions come in different faceting patterns/cuts and shape (length to width ratio). One thing did strike me, that if GIA grades stones as Excellent should they meet that criteria, this stone for polish and symmetry is rated as, good. Very good would be next...
Have you searched some cushion threads on this site? There are dozens, with much varied, helpful and interesting information......
i too am no expert, but that looks a little on the "warm" side to be an F colour... might just be the poor lighting, but i find that''s when the true colour of the stone is shown.
As others have pointed out, a cushion should absolutely be seen in person if possible. Plots that look identical on paper can end up looking completely different in person.
It''s really difficult to give an opinion on the stone, not knowing what look you''re going for. I''m in the process of working with Mark T. from ERD and have very specfic requirements about MY cushion, but they could be totally different from yours. That said, if you are going for more of an antique look, those stats aren''t really ideal. If you are going for more modern, they seem to fit. As far as price, the stone seems a little pricey. Sorry if I''m being vague, but as I''m sure you know Cushions have SO many variables, but I think that''s why we love them.
