Cushion Depth of 72%???

I am looking at a cushion cut diamond with a depth of 72%, is that way too high? Will it face up much smaller than its carat weight?

It depends, the overall weight distribution is the deciding factor really rather than the actual depth percentage, also you can''t judge a cushion by numbers, look at the whole diamond using photos and ASET images where possible. Is it with an online vendor?

Thanks for your reply! Yes it is from an online vendor, they have ordered it in so that pictures can be taken. Other than the depth there is nothing that worries me just by looking at the certificate.

You are most welcome! Post the pics when you get them and see if they could supply an ASET image too if possible, that would be a huge help!
