Cushion Cut; Color or Clarity

If you have to sacrifice one for the other in a cushion cut, should I pick color over clarity or vice versa. What color and calrity reccomendations can you give.

We are getting the Tiffany Legacy ring so the lowest calrity can be a VS2 and color I believe I is the lowest grade.

Definitely clarity in my opinion, especially if the lowest you're talking about is a VS2. My cushion is a SI2 and eye clean, according to my definition. That's a whole other argument though and I don't want to steal your post.

If your lowest available clarity is VS2, then clarity! It is still a very high and respectable clarity grade.

If your lowest available clarity is VS2, then clarity! It is still a very high and respectable clarity grade.

In the Legacy type cushion..., a G-VS1 would be optimum..., A VS2 on the side would pass by ok too.
Some VS2''s when in the center (table)..., can be visible. So make sure the table of the one you pick is clean of inclusions!
