I recently requested ASET images for three cushion cut diamonds but wanted to get your opinion on if you think any of these three are good quality

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I wish you asked for help before requesting your 3 free asets. :((

Num 1...no
Num 2...no
Num 3 - ok but not great (IMO) due to the leakage around the edge of the table.

Edit - if you give us your specs and budget we can probably steer you in the right direction. Unfortunately, you are out of asets
at JA.

I am looking for a cushion cut between 0.9-1.1 carat, with a length to width ratio of 1.1-1.2. Looking for something ideally under $5k for the loose diamond as I have my own setting. Do you have any suggestions based on those specifications?

You really should have asked our help BEFORE you got ASETs from JA. You wasted your ASETs.

Ask them if they will allow you a couple more.

You only get three per purchase.

I understand that I should have researched this further before requesting my ASETs but are there any from James Allen that would be better quality within my criteria?

The good old gold one seems like a good fit but it appears to me that there may be some light leakage evidenced in the ASET. Is this the case or am I misinterpreting the ASET report?

Thanks for your help!

VERY little leakage. FAR less than your choices, and well within tolerable amounts, and will not be very visible. The GOG stone is very nice.

I requested a video comparison of the GOG diamond listed above and a Brellia hearts and diamonds for comparison:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kLiLD_E2a8

It seems to me that the diamond seems fairly dead on one side in the video. What are your thoughts? How can I detect this behavior based on the ASET images or is this something that the ASET images do not necessarily indicate?

I see what you are talking about. Did you talk to gog and
ask them what was going on with it?

At the beginning it looks dark. But it perks up.

If you prefer the look of the other stone... get that one, is it in budget? If it is not Blue Nile has great hearts and arrows cushions (the only fancy shape stones we recommend from them). You seem to want a rectangle though.

You said you are looking for a stone for your current setting. Why are the dimensions of the diamond you need to fit that setting. With cushions carat weight isn't enough to determine if a stone will fit. You have to do by dimensions.

Unfortunately the 1ct Brellia is not within my budget, so if I wanted to go with a Brellia I would need to get a smaller carat size. I will look into the Blue Nile hearts and arrows, thanks for the tip.

I asked GOG about the diamond and to see if they have any other stones that would fit those parameters (after business hours). Buying a more rectangular cushion is definitely preferred but may have to reconsider that if I can't find the right stone.

The setting would work with the GOG stone discussed above but I can't go too much larger than that.
