Hi,
Just discovered PS and wish I had done so much earlier, before I bought a cushion cut engagement ring. Pretty much a diamond novice here, I knew about the 4Cs but didn't know cut was so important. Now I realise I have no idea of the quality of the cut I got, looked at my GIA cert but it doesn't say anything there. Hoping the diamond experts here can clue me in?
Good thing is I got my ring from a local jeweler with a 3 month exchange policy so I can still switch if the stone is no good. Hoping to get the best stone for the price so all advice really appreciated!
Here's what I have on my GIA cert
Cushion modified brilliant
8.66 x 7.32 x 4.91
Carat: 2.65
Color: D
Clarity: VS2
Symmetry: good
Polish: very good
Flourescence: faint
Table: 64%
Depth 67.1%
Will post a pic when I can. Thanks
