The deposit is down just need to choose between these 2 diamonds. Need to make a choice before they bring the one out. Is it worth spending the extra cash for the more expensive one?

Unfortunately we can''t tell by the numbers, I would recommend you look at as many cushions as you can, so you can get an idea of the type you like. Cushions can show many different appearances which the numbers can''t predict, so use your eyes and pick a cushion which '' smiles'' at you! Only you can tell if it is worth spending the extra money, but you won''t know that until you can actually see and compare both.

Thats the problem, I can''t see both together side by side. I need to pick one and then they bring that one in and then I look at it. If I am not happy with it then ill get them to bring the other in. I just want to only have to look at one. So I need to decided before hand.

I wish it was as simple as being able to look at depth and table etc, and be able to tell you that yes, this cushion will be a beautiful diamond, but even if we had all the measurements, we still wouldn''t be able to tell. I would start by asking them to bring in the cheaper one to see if you like it, then if not, call in the more expensive stone.

Why can''t you see both side by side? Does this store or dealer have the diamonds in stock, or is it something they''re ordering online sight unseen?

If you can''t see as many cushions as you can, you need to deal with a vendor who knows this type of cut inside and out.

As Lorelei mentioned, the numbers can''t tell the story, at all.
