Guys,
I really appreciate all your help so far.
I do have yet another question...
A diamond that i am looking at has a very small culet. When i plug in the angles CA,PA (35, 40.
... and theres no need to enter a culet %.... i get a 1.6 on the HCA
just for kicks, i put in the depth % for crown and pavilion and then estimated .35% -1.05% for my very small culet and the HCA numbers jumped. .35% culet yielded 1.9HCA. 1.05% culet yielded 2.7
obviously the excellents went to very goods... not a bad diamond still, but is there anyway to know what percentage to actually enter for the culet?
am i making a mountain out of a culet??
thanks
