Culet or small culet...Should I be concerned?

Hi Everyone,
I recently purchased a diamond where on the GIA report it says there is no culet. I just received a Sarin report where it says none/very small culet. It looks like this is visible in one of the images...

I would appreciate feedback on why this might be the case, and if it is something to be concerned about? Also - any feedback on the Sarin report would be greatly appreciated...I am not too familiar in reading these and if the results here are favorable or not.

Thanks!

Are we talking chicken cutlets or what? I'm sure you meant culet ;). Good news is you found your 58 facet.

I'm not an expert, but from what I know GIA likes to round, which is why the sarin might show a very small culet and GIA feels its insignificant enough to just label it as none. Even with a small culet it's not an issue most of the time from my knowledge.

Yikes! Well obviously my inexperience is showing  I have edited the post to reflect the correct terminology!

Appreciate the feedback. What do you think of the overall report? Any light leakage, etc. that I should be concerned with?

Like IxAs says it might be so small that it was deemed none by GIA. Even a very small culet is nothing at all to worry about. There was a time when it was standard practice to put a very small facet there to reduce the risk of damage to the point.

It could be that the scan was off slightly on the extra diagnostics you received. As accurate as these instruments are there is still a very slight range of instrument deviation. Of course, there is also the possiblility that the culet has become abraded since the GIA report was issued. If you are still concerned, you could have the stone inspected by a gemologist. But again, as small as it is, it really has no impact on light performance or beauty. Looks like a nice 60/60 make.

Thanks! I am feeling a lot less worried now.

Any others insights on the reporting?
