This stone is said to be eyeclean. It''s a SI1 by GIA. What do you think of this type of inclusion?

A crystal is merely a smaller diamond crystal that was encompassed by the larger diamond crystal as it formed, no bid deal, it''s like having ice within an ice cube. No way to determine the visibility of an inclusion off of the plotting diagram...

Bumpity, bump, bump. Anyone else?

I like this type of inclusion if not eye visible, or close to it!

cinnamon, you got a "real expert" description from Todd, and an ok on eyecleanliness from WF. Sounds like you''re good to go!

You can''t judge the diamond by the plot.

Mine looks terrifying as it has a couple of clouds - but it''s a VS2 and I struggle to see them even with a 10x loupe.

Look at it as ''two for the price of one''? :) You could even think of it as a ''secret'' diamond!

Actually, a few weeks ago GOG had a diamond with the cutest heart-shaped crystal inclusion ever... I''m amazed they didn''t use it as a selling point and charge extra!! ;)

Just get your vendor to look at the diamond for you and check it''s eyeclean to your standards.

Thanks Todd, Lorelei, Ellen, and Cleo! This is good news.
