Cruise proposal ideas???

Does anyone have any cruise proposal ideas?
I'd like to do it early in the trip so she can enjoy the cruise, engagement, and the ring! I'm shooting for something more private and special (but still different and unique!)

She probably would get too shy and uncomfortable with something public.

Not sure if this reply is coming too late, but just in case...

A co-worker of mine was proposed to on a cruise, on the balcony of their room right as the ship was leaving port. She was able to send out a few text messages and pics to important people before being out of cell phone range, then she got to enjoy the rest of the cruise celebrating the engagement without being bombarded with phone calls, texts and emails. Even if your room doesn't have a balcony, you can probably find a nice secluded spot out on one of the decks - people tend to congregate in certain areas during departure. Another idea (though this might be a bit too public) is to do it while one of the professional photographers is taking your picture! Good luck! I'm sure no matter what you do, she will be ecstatic!
