On any stone each measurement ( will be slightly (hopefully) different, and the machine may give you an average with a min/max range.
If you repeat the measure with the same machine, you will get slight variations due to intra-machine variability and other factors.
If you repeat on different machines, you will also get variability due to inter-machine variability and other factors (different operators, different machine calibration, etc.).

We have found that the slight deviation in Sarin repeatability is reduced if one takes some care in centering the diamond on the platform.
Our grading room is temperature controlled and this also seems to contribute to good repeatability.
Perhaps other Sarin/Ogi users could comment if they have similar results.
