Guess who''s fiance(!!!!!) is the sneakiest man ever - MINE is!!!!!!
So, he told me last week on the 1st that the ring wasn''t going to be done on the 2nd like he had originally thought. He had made some changes to the ring, and he apologized for delaying it again. I''ve been in sales meetings all week from 8 am until dinner was over at about 10 pm. By the time I had gotten home all week I was tired and cranky, but on Wednesday night, as he was brushing his teeth - I would catch him basically giggling at me in the mirror. I was sure he had it at that point! Then on Friday morning he told me that it should ship early this week, so I was thinking V Day . . . ok, cliche, but very sweet. However, if there''s anything Weston isn''t, it''s cliche and predictable.
He proposed this morning at 8:00ish - with THE most gorgeous Asscher ring I have ever laid my eyes upon! It''s amazing!!!!!!! And the proposal was so sweet and just US - lying in our bed on a Sunday morning. I''ve had a grin on my face all morning!!!!
I don''t know if any of you remember me posting this ring that Weston designed for me late last year, but this is what it''s based on . . . no pics yet because my camera is dead, dead, dead - but while the battery''s charging, at least I have something to show!
With the wedding just over 3 weeks away, I really can''t believe he surprised me . . . I''m absolutely floored by all of the work he put into the ring, and I can''t wait to get my hands on the GIA report and a live battery and share with ya''ll!
