I finally gave my fiance her ring. Its waspretty awesome. I kept telling her 2 weeks, then i slipped it on her hand when she was watching tv
Its a .82 D VVS1 Triple Ex, GIA diamond.
Sparkles like crazy and is very pretty. Her hand is very small (size J) so it makes the diamond look even bigger
Her sister keeps telling her to tell her the ''truth'' in regards to size, she cant believe its only 0.82!
The jeweller set the stone last weekend. However, when I look at the diamond in the setting, about 1/3 of the way from the bottom there appears to be a horizontal fissure/crack running across the whole of the diamond!
Is this just a reflection of the ring or something? Im in another state for 3 weeks, so cant really get to her and bring it back to the jewller. I did have alook at a friend ring and they have that particular line too.
I dont have pictures as our camera isnt good enough to take it
