COVID has been found in New Jersey deer. Scientists have no idea how they got it

Researchers have also found that 33% of 481 deer in New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois and Michigan had COVID antibodies. There was no sign of illness.

COVID has been found in deer since 2020. Deer in the Northeast were found to have COVID at least half the time if I recall. Zoos are all vaccinating their animals, the only animal Omicron doesn’t infect is a goat and one other animal I can’t now recall.
