Both mine Wifey and I tested positive for covid.
It feels like a strong head cold which had been going around so I just thought that was it.
I had a moderately high fever last night which broke during the night so figured we should test, both positive.

Two days before Christmas wifey was not feeling well so as a precaution did a covid test and was negative.
Friday she was feeling bad and I was starting to feel bad too.
She let me take care of her so she had to have been sick.
She is feeling somewhat better and it comes and goes for me.
Chest feels clear and and o2 stats are good.
Sending our doctor a mychart message for first thing Monday.
Prayers appreciated.

Sending healing vibes to you and your wife! It lingered about 3 weeks before our family got over it. The
toughest part only lasted about 4 days for each of us though.

I’m sorry Karl. I hope you both feel better quickly. Prayers and get well dust being sent your way. I’m glad your oxygen numbers are good and you are contacting your doctor.

HI:

Take it easy peeps!!!! Healing vibes across the miles.....

Biggest hugs outgoing to you and Wifey! Let me know if you need anything, I'm so close by and happy to do it.

Oh, so sorry to hear this Karl! You guys are lucky to have gone this long before catching Covid, although I bet it doesn't feel that way to you right now! Luckily the strains now are not as serious, and I bet that you are vaccinated multiple times. As everyone has said before, rest, stay hydrated, take Tylenol if your fever is above 101-102, and contact your doctor for further advice. Chicken soup being sent over the internet for you!

prayers for you and your wife...there is alot of illnesses going around including covid, take care and I hope it doesnt get too horrible.

Hope you both feel better soon!

I dodged Covid until late last fall. It was like a bad case of the “ normal” flu when the C virus finally got me. With all the vaccinations you (hopefully) have had, your body has weapons to fight it. Rest as much as you can, get Paxlovid if you can , and continue to take it very easy even when you are feeling better.
Wishing you both a speedy recovery!

I hope you both get better quickly. I caught covid once, last november. It was definitely not mild for me. I ended up having to delete posts from the internet because I got delirious from the high fever. On the way back to my bed from the bathroom I literally fell flat on my face on the floor and thought "Oh, so that's what that feels like.". Was a long run for me but no permanent damage except to my pride.

Not much new today.
Doctors reply was just copy paste cdc guidelines.
