Be VERY careful!!!!!

What's wrong with FedEx or Brinks?

Why does he need a mule?

BE CAREFUL... it might be drugs or something equally illegal...

uncut diamonds can be equally illegal, if they're being shipped around outside of the Kimberly process, which I'd suspect in this case. "conflict diamonds" have been cracked down on quite a bit.

you might want to figure out whether this is illegal before you do it. you might also want to figure out whether they want you to hide them somewhere in your body, which is a very good indication of illegality, and probably very uncomfortable.

well i just went 2 the customs web page and downloaded the Kimberley Process and befor accepting the job i will make sure this is all threw the proper channels i am also wondering if there is any proper technique 2 transporting a precious stone just some words of advice from a person who has done it

There are 2 specialist diamond courier services Brinks and Malca-Amit that offer a door to door service, Both have offices in Hong Kong.

There is no logical reason to carry diamonds on your person,

Johan

to mdx yes it seems all signs point 2 these being conflict diamonds at the moment he knows i want 2 get my gg and I am interested in the bizz so if i find that he is not just giveing me a chance 2 see the machine and is useing me then you can trust no amount of money will convince me to do this for him

No one, but no one in this industry carries diamonds across borders unless they are involved in illicit and illegal activities!

There are no entry taxes in any country for ploished or rough diamonds, so there is no reason to spend a fortune on airline tickets when you can use an insured carrier.

I suggest you report this person to the customs authroities.

The proposition sounds very dubious... If this guy owns the diamodns, why wouldn't he have them shipped to him or just take them himself after the purchase was concluded ? No idea under what circumstances a random currier would be needed unless it is to cover something up.

Given the situation is unusual, you should get an explanation why it is done so - prefferably from the employer, not the police. I don't think one needs a GG diploma for this kind of "job" - only lots of nerve and NO reputation to protect

Just a thought..
