And what''s the deal with palladium? What does it do? I''m thinking of getting the Swan or Sisley band in the white gold setting and heard Dvatche uses pal. All I know is it sounds cool.

But I''m trying to keep my upgrade in a budget but just wanted to know what the new bands looked like as well. I think the solitaire ones are beautiful.

And if anyone knows the prices for them, that''d be terrific. I have one set but according to one website, Dvatche went up in prices after 7/15.

I''m currently working with GOG again cuz I love them but I love opinions as well, so if people want to chime in on these 3 stones, I''d be more than happy to get the feedback.

My current diamond is a 1.016 D VS2. How much of a noticeable diff will there be from going from a D to an G color grade?

Hi Deputy,

I can''t answer your setting questons, I''ll let someone else address those.

As for your upgrade stones, I''ll be honest, the size difference would be almost negligable. Once you get to the 1 ct., it takes a lot to see a visual difference. If I were you, I''d be looking more at a 1.7 and up....Unless you need to, or just want to, get there gradually. And you might very well notice the difference in a G to your D. I have a round 1.4 G and I don''t see any color, but I wasn''t used to looking at a D either.

The stones you picked are all nice.

i think GOG is a vatche dealer??? you might just ask them for more info on the settings too..

I had tried viewing the vids before on my other PC but they didnt work. Just tried again and I def want the pave setting, just dont know if I need the actual Swan setting. The thing I like about Dvatche is he allows you to see almost the entire diamond unlike the Tiffany settings where the shanks cover up almost all but the top of it. So gorgeous.

Can anyone reccomend a thinner knife edge band with the smooth pave setting similar to Dvatche?
