Cost to repair platinum ring?

Hi, my wife has an engagement ring with a cushion cut diamond in the center and a halo of smaller diamonds around it. One of the smaller diamonds in the halo came out (luckily she found it!) and so we needed it repaired.

How much should we expect to pay to have this repaired? In case it matters, I recall it is Plat. 950 and we are in Chicago.

It shouldn't be much at all, especially if they just have to put it in and tighten the prongs. This happens sometimes and even if you lose a little stone, it shouldn't cost much to repair. Just be sure you go to a really good jeweler who is known for quality bench work.
