Hi-
I'm looking at purchasing a radiant diamond, GIA specs below. Cost is about $3000 - am I paying to much?

Color - G
Clarity - SI2
Finish:
Polish - Excellent
Symmetry - Good
Fluorescence - None
Very thick
Thanks!
Ok, is it online or with a store? This can influence pricing considerably.Date: 8/20/2009 11:00:17 PM

table is 63%, depth 68%. Actually is a princess not radiant...but a princess with all the corners cut.
I would accept no less than you meeting at an independant appraiser of your choosing so they can verify it is in fact a diamond and also give you an impartial opinion on the diamond and its price. I would say also for secondary market the price looks high, you could find one similarly priced with vendor benefits and protection if you bought online when comparing prices of ones for sale from online vendors.Date: 8/21/2009 2:21:38 PM

Private seller actually. Do these specs look good for that price? There is so much information online of what is good/bad that I am not sure what is what anymore. Appreciate the help!
No, sometimes you find these with clipped corners, need more info as it is a Princess to judge it as the depth and table only give a chalk outline.Date: 8/21/2009 4:08:46 PM

Thanks for the links. Definatley will have the diamond checked out. The stone turned out to be a princess and not a radiant. But with corners cut off - is this a bad thing? I was ok with it since I was afraid about chipping, etc. I have a tendancy to bang into things. Do those specs look ok for a princess? If I don''t go with this one would be helpful to know what I should avoid on the next search.
