Cookie Idea

Lately I''ve been experimenting with cookie recipes and wanted to share and idea with you gals. Basically, it''s just a variation on a regular old chocolate chip cookie recipe. But instead of chocolate chips, I''ve been getting all kinds of weird and wacky posh bars of chocolate and scrumpling them up and using those instead. So far, the two winners are:

Lindt Pear flavoured dark chocolate

and any dark chocolate with orange in it.

The orange flavoured chocolate is the best, but the pear (with walnuts added of course!) is just such an unusual flavour that I have to recommend it just for the experience. Mmmm.... pear and walnut choco-chip cookies.

Ooohhh, I would try the pear. I tried the chocolate bar and found the pear goo to be too sweet, but with some savory cookie, I bet that''s awesome. Thanks for the tip!

Yes, I recommend lowering the sugar content a bit, and adding LOTS of walnuts. Definitely works best wtih a slightly less sweet cookie!
