Consequence of large table percentages?

I'm currently about to purchase a cushion diamond. I've seen it personally and to me it's the nicest out of anything I've seen and right in my budget. It has great brilliance and fire and does not suffer from the cheap crushed ice type look (imo). I saw the Gia report and everything looked perfect. The only possible thing that disturbs me is the fact that the table percentage appeared to be larger than normally recommend... If I recall if was about 64%. What is the issue with having a table percentage that is too large? Is this table percentage considered large?

Here's the rest of the diamond details:

Vs2
G
Forget exact measurements but ratio around 1.09
Depth percentage 67.5%
Table percentage approx 64%
Good polish
VG symmetry
No fluorescence

Nothing we can say comes close to trumping this. That's something like the definition of a successful purchase. Congratulations. Don't worry a bit about the table percentage. 64% is a bit big for people who are buying blind and off the numbers but your statement above is the REASON that you are consistently advised to look at it in person before you make a final decision.

perfect. i had a feeling that this was the most important thing and like i said, the only thing that worried me on the entire GIA report was this larger table percentage, so i just wanted to get some advice first. it's not purchased yet, still negotiating, but hopefully i can get it done shortly!
