Confused: Wil Shane Co. set outside stones or not?

I took my girlfriend to the Shane Co. in Indianapolis and she really enjoyed the stones we were shown. In the past month since, though, I have done a lot of research and have realized that I''d rather buy from an Internet store where I can actually see the diamond specifications. The major hold-back is that my girlfriend was really impressed with the liftime guarantee of Shane Co.

I searched the board for posts about Shane and some say that they will not set outside stones while other posts say that Shane will set outside stones at $1/pt. and include their "liftime warranty" should the stone fall out of the setting.

Who is right?

Good question. You might want just call them at 1-866-467-4263 and ask.

From Shane Co warranty page:
