I picked up this beautiful padlock... love it. The agate on the back isn't the prettiest I've seen but its ok. It actually seemed to turn a more pinkish color after I put it in cleaner for a few min. anyway Its peculiar? to me that it has no bands? the "banding" on the back I am assuming looks like glue or whatever was used to hold it in place as it doesnt seem to penetrate the stone but be behind it.
Anyway, just wanted to ask if you all feel this is likely Agate?
It's very smooth and seems very transparent.
