I have the HTC Mogul... same concept...

I frequently breastfeed and use mine.
Pick up my Mogul at a red light and quickly send a text.
Check to make sure I didn''t miss a call/text because I left it on the couch while I went to the bathroom... 10 feet away.
What? It could have gone off while I was flushing! LOL!

Do you remember what life was like BEFORE cell phones?
There''s really no chance that I''d miss a call in the bathroom because I either (a) have my crackberry with me (

) or (b) wear my headset almost all the time anyway so even if I was 10 feet from my phone it would go of in my ear!

Oh yes... life before celll phones... I used to absolutely refuse to answer my home phone so anyone who called would have to start talking to my answering machine and if it was someone I wanted to speak with I''d pick it up. But the WORST thing in the world was if someone hung up without leaving a message and then I would have to call around to everyone I knew to find out who had just called me.

Well I''m glad to see I''m not alone!

Charger, I have become pretty adept at surfing PS on it, but I can''t post for some reason (It says ''Javascript not enabled''). Can you imagine?!? It''s not bad enough I''m walking around town calling and emailing and surfing, but add posting on PS to all that -- WOW!

Bliss, I so totally do that too! Roll over... grope for Crackberry... open one eye... spin the trackball...

Lisa, when the HH first got his I was like WHAT is the fascination with that THING??? Ha!!! Now I know!

BrownEyedGirl, I don''t know what provider you use but I think some (maybe most?) have an international version? Not that I should be feeding anyone''s addiction...

Oobiecoo, thank god there was no such thing as Crackberries when I was in school becuase I never would have paid one second of attention to any of my professors! I still vividly recall the ONE AND ONLY time I forgot to turn off my cell phone in law school (this was back in ''92 or ''93). I about died of mortification!

Pandora, I HATE the idiots who ''reply to all.'' Sooooo many emails I don''t need...

NEL and Wishful, I guess the only good thing about the Crackberry vs. a laptop is that the CB fits in my wallet!

I''m actually going to be home in 2 weeks and back to my beloved Crackberry! As advanced as Japan''s cell phone technology and services are, it''s really only for actual subscribers, and not pay-as-you go customers like me. So between the rates for calling, I only use my crappy phone for messaging...grr....

I LOVE my crackberry because not only do I get my e-mail and internet fix, I''m also constantly signed onto gchat and AIM. It''s a horrible horrible addiction.

So who''s going to get the new blackberry BOLD when it comes out??

I just bought a new phone a few months ago and decided against the blackberry, because I knew if I had one, I would not have the "I''m camping for the weekend and didn''t bring my laptop" excuse not to check my work e-mail all the time!

After reading this post I''m torn between being glad that I dodged the bullet on this one and being jealous of all of you girls that have one!

ROFLMBO!!! So, then you remember life before caller ID too! LOL!

I totally used to always have my BT headset on... but after baby #2 was born... I had to take it off... he kept ripping it out of my ear... usually along with my earring!

Bump!

I just got a CrackBerry yesterday!!!!!! I had a special offer to upgrade on my phone early to a BlackBerry Curve so I did it!

Still figuring out how to work the thing but so far I''m loving it! I can see how it gets addicting!

Ohh and mine''s pink so I''m calling it my PinkBerry.
