hello fellow PS'ers! My ER is currently with David Keeling, and hopefully, it will be repairable. In the meantime I was checking out WF's website and found this stunner! OMG! Now, I feel like such a greedy witch, because I have the ER that I love but but but I absolutely LOVE this ring!! Can someone diagnose what is wrong with me?? Do I have WF-envy/fever?? I have always loved the half bezel setting, and was thinking that if it had scattered diamonds, it would be perfect! I have spoken to Lesley a few times about it, and I find myself actually picturing this ring on my finger. How can I love and want both rings?? I showed it to my fiancee and I feel terrible for wanting it, because I already have a gorgeous ring! I feel so selfish!

Oh mi gosh I hear you! I have been searching for a setting for my new 1.57 diamond and I so much wanted the half bezel. Unfortunately I also really want to wear a band so the two together would be too thick.

So now I find myself wondering if I can swing another smaller diamond AS WELL and do a half bezel in addition to my solitaire! I find myself thinking more about this possible smaller diamond than finding the right setting for my bigger main diamond!

It is a sickness I tell you!

thank god I am NOT alone! I was seriously worried. I just love that ring! It might be too thick for my fingers though, I never even thought about that part of it! yikes..

I''ve been to Tiffs numerous times to try on the Etoile solitaire with the Etoile band and I just *faint* at that look. But with the stone I have it''s all just going to be too wide on my finger. I''m devastated. That''s why I keep on having fantasies of buying another stone. Don''t think dh would stand for it somehow.

I just love the thought of how easy it would be to wear, smooth, no prongs, so safe for the stone...sigh. I''m talking myself back into this obsession! On no!!!! Hellllllp!!!

that was my biggest reason for getting something without prongs was I have a 2 year old little girl, and, I didn''t want to be scratching her with my ring.

couldn''t you have the etoile style ring, with a super skinny band?

Oh temptress!!! thought of that but I really love the matching etoile band which is 4mm wide with the scattered diamonds? loooove it. by the way I have a 2yr old daughter too!

What about a RHR in the future? The single band would look perfect and not too thick that way.

but my little girl "elle destructo" never stops from the second her eyes open, until they close at night

and she likes to run around in only her diaper, so prongs would be a really bad choice for me. I didnt realize the band was 4mm wide! hola!
