We were super lucky. First month. Not doing anything other than counting days from the first day of my period and aimed for everyday between days 12-18 and then every other until around day 26. I called it trying to catch the egg and we did not want to miss it in case it was late. It worked, that egg is now in Jr. High I was super lucky because baby number 2 was the same way. Babies 3 and 4 were unplanned but welcomed.

Hey there,

I stopped the pill and we used other methods for six months. Worked out that we would need help (I had irregular cycles) and we got pg on the second cycle!

I missed my pill though I can tell you!

Tacori had some good stats for you-you have a 1:4-1:5 chance of getting pg if you have normal fertility and time intercourse exactly right per cycle. In general you should see a dr if you have tried for six months and are 35 or over and for a year if you are under 35 or if you have more than one m/carriage. I was just super impatient!

IG, when I was reading the TTC thread the other day, I thought you had a couple of cycles of BFN before the twins?

Nope. We weren't really trying the first month. Had unprotected fun a couple of times, but only after I was fairly sure it was safe. Then by the end of the month, I was excited and hoped it might be a BFP anyway, but no luck. So the first month we were really trying, as in, timing the fun, was BFP month.

We got married (or finished getting married) April 13th, the May 15th cycle was the golden one.

I had charted my cycle and we got pregnant with the first week of trying. I was convinced it would take us months and months and months.
