Comtemplating an Asscher... help?

I found a Daniel K pendant with an Asscher cut and is debating whether it''s a good purchase. I know very little about the cuts. The GIA certificate calls it square emerald cut. Are they indeed different? Is this a good cut for this shape? What''s the running price for something like this?

Numbers sound scary...maybe it's because of the size. Daniel K asschers are supposed to be very good.

Table is too big and it is too dark center.
DK carries a large premium so I have no idea on pricing.


You can do a lot better going thru GOG and having one set in a pendant.
If you step down to a g/h vs asscher you can also go larger.
