Comparison of Two 1.5 ct Stones

First, I would like to thank everyone for the useful input I''ve garnered over the past months. It has helped me narrow my decision. I had purchased an I-VS1 at a B&M. But, after posting the stats here, I realized that it was quite out of round, and I wasn''t provided with the Sarin Report. Thus, I took it back (with much hassle from the salesperson about why).

Anyhow, I would appreciate any comments you have that would compare these stones. Both are from an online vendor who provided the Sarin Report. All information has been verified (and re-verified) for typos.

Sorry for my lack of understanding of your terminology. But, I think you want to see the inclusion plot, correct? The one that shows feathers, et al?

Providing they perform as their numbers suggest they should, I'd firmly agree with Stone #2.

Both stones score well on the HCA although stone #1 is a BIC, while stone #2 is a TIC. If these are the 2 stones you've narrowed down your choices to, you might want to have the vendor send the stones to an independent appraiser so that you could take look at them in person. You might have a preference for a BIC over a TIC or vice versa and so that may sway your preference. I don't think you could go wrong with either however...

Just going by #'s, I would choose #2 for the 600 dollar savings
