i notice the girdle for the JA one is blank. is this important factor?

well, besides that, any other differences. very comparable in all aspects: specs, price.

JA stone is cut more for brilliance than fire, the BN stone is more balance.

But BN will not be able to provide Idealscope image, so that is a negative for me for that angle combination.
