Can someone comment on the idealscope (white edges and faint pink ring around center)?

I love it, so I guess this is more of an academic question. Lots of ideal scopes that I have seen are completely solid around the edges and then a lot are not. Both types seem to be of nice stones. So I guess I am just wondering about the significance of the white triangles around the edge?

i prefer those white triangles around the edge.i think it gives the stone more contrast.
