I just purchased this setup from James Allen and I should be receiving it in the next 1-2 weeks.

I was promised it would be 100% eyeclean. The report shows some cloudy areas but as long as it isn''t visible to the naked eye it will not bother me. I chose this stone because I really liked the shape. The table/depth looked really good to me compared to the other GIA stones I have came across. (I really wanted ot buy an infinity stone but I never could come up with the extra funds since I just had a kid)

Anyone have any thoughts (Good or Bad) about this stone:

On a side note: Jim Schultz from James Allen has been very friendly and helpful in all aspects of my ring shopping experience.

Hello Minorthreat,

A VS2 stone will be eye clean. I think with a reputable dealer like JA you will have no worries. I have a .71 Princess that is SI2 per EGL. I have 20/40 vision and the stone is eye clean. In fact it is amazing. Yours will better.

Regards,
Lisa

Looks like a nice princess! Also looks like a familiar princess - it may be one of the rocks I recommended to people recently. At any rate, one more thing I would ask for before finalizing the deal would be an Idealscope image. This will help you judge the cut quality. Of course seeing it with your own eyes will also be a great test!

JA does not provide Idealscope images unfortunately.

Actually, James Allen will provide IS images on request (no charge for up to three stones, I believe) if they still have the diamond. They also have a great return policy, so if you are not happy with the diamond once it arrives, then it is not a problem to send it back.

What setting did you select to put this in?

Ditto, it looks like a nice Princess.

Thritto - what JA will not provide is an ASET, which is unfortunate because they''re a little better than IS for evaluating fancy shapes. However, an IS would still be helpful if you''re interested in optimizing cut quality.

I would post the images for you as linking to photo hosting sites is against policy, but the file sizes are too big and I don't know how to resize them.

Can you post them directly to Pricescope please?

Hey, Lorelei, I can give a little assist.
