Oh, jeez T2! I''m glad you were not in the car. Must have been a surprise to find your car in that condition. (Sorry to thread-jack.)Date: 1/25/2010 8:16:06 PM

I''m in for a big refund because of the first time homebuyer''s credit!![]()
However, a drunk girl driving a big truck totaled my car last week (it was parked and I wasn''t in it so I''m a-okay) and I''ll probably end up putting some of the refund towards paying off whatever car I end up buying. I''m too used to not having a car payment so I don''t think I''ll be able to deal with one! (Plus a car payment would cut into my clothes buying habit and I definitely can''t have that!)![]()
My husband and I were considering putting the $ towards installing central air, too, but we haven''t decided. It''ll get saved until we figure out what we want to do with it.

Ah, that sucks! We just lost our dental insurance because my husband quit his job (to work for himself again) and I was talking to a friend and she recommended having dental work done at a dental school rather than at the dentist. Supposely, it's just as safe and you can save quite a bit of money.Date: 1/26/2010 12:40:44 PM

We WERE going to put it towards remodeling our bathroom (long overdue, replacing the floor and putting in a sink vanity), but I broke my tooth. All that and then some is going towards fixing the tooth. Another year of no gemstone/jewelry-buying. Can you tell I'm bummed?![]()
Going off topic for a sec... I have friends who just finished dental school and they highly recommended the school for cheap dental care. Of course they were also getting experience.. but there is a dental instructor (i.e. dentist) there at all times supervising everything. At the dental school by me though there is usually a line in the morning of people ready to get their work done, so I would call to see how their appointments work!Date: 1/26/2010 1:19:58 PM
