I know it's complicated but..

All things being equal. Would you expect a ~.22ct fancy light purplish pink to be priced the same as a fancy light pink?

Hard to say, but if things were really all equal in cut, clarity, they might be similarly priced, however, it really depends on the shade/saturation and overall attractiveness. What would affect price greatly too is if one had an argyle certificate but the other one did not, then expect to see a larger price discrepancy. Best bet is to try to research and look up comparables, but as you know trying to find apples to compare to apples can be difficult.

Of course as always, it's good to verify the information as to its accuracy.
From what I'm reading in the above link with all things being equal, the fancy light pink would cost more.
With that being said, you may like the color of the fancy light pink with the purple modifier better.
